Recently, I was reflecting on my intentions for 2024.
I have business intentions, like hosting in-person retreats again in Sedona and Kauai and reaching more people with my classes.
I feel good about those.
I have personal intentions, like more free time for self-care, travel, and fitness.
I feel good about those, too.
I also have lovemaking intentions.
Gasp!
When I first wrote them down, I felt an internal cringe.
Even though I’m a sacred sexuality teacher, and I know the importance of sexual energy and prioritizing pleasure…
I wondered, “Is this really OK? Is it OK for me to want more sexually?”
Then my wise inner voice reminded me, ““O,” Yes it is!”
(“O” Yes stands for “orgasmic” yes, a yes full of love, passion and joy!)
I thought of how it is socially acceptable for us to have a BIG vision for our business or career and tangible goals that we can achieve.
But is it socially acceptable for us to have a BIG vision for our sacred s.e.x. lives? Is it OK to want more? And to prioritize pleasure enough that we write it on our list of 2024 intentions?
“O” Yes it is!
What if instead of having more things on our to-do list to achieve, what if we simply want to BE and bask in the high vibes of pleasure?
What if we want more time for lovemaking, whether with our partner or ourselves?
What if we want to dive deeper into love to the point that we glow with love? What if that glow impacts everyone we meet and everything we do, whether we are at work, at play, making money, or making love?
My question for YOU:
Do you want more PLEASURE and LOVEMAKING in 2024?
Would you consider adding it to your list of intentions?
Pleasure can include everyday pleasure, the things that bring you joy.
Plus, sensual pleasure and sexual pleasure.
We are rewriting long-standing societal paradigms.
Society values productivity, not pleasure.
Society encourages making money above making love.
It’s time for us to change that.
When we prioritize pleasure (especially sexual pleasure), we have more energy, clearer access to our intuitive (higher self’s) guidance, and we are more creative, confident, happier, and healthier.
Isn’t that a good enough reason to include pleasure and lovemaking on our list of 2024 intentions?
Plus, when we prioritize pleasure, it raises our vibration and gives us the energy to manifest ALL our other intentions.
